ABOUT US
Simply put the Christian Union (CU) is group of students who love Jesus. Our aim is to give every Sussex student the opportunity to hear and respond to his good news. To do this we organise evangelistic events throughout the year, notably our Carols and Events Weeks. CU members come from a wide range of cultures, churches and denominations within the evangelical church. We accept and affirm the UCCF Doctrinal Basis.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
As a CU we want to transform our campus, bringing the radical love of Jesus to all students.
The CU is a non-denominational organisation and all our members come from a wide range of backgrounds, but we all unite over the core truths of the Good news of Jesus Christ found in the doctrinal basis of UCCF .
Our Regular Events
MONDAY MEETING
We meet on campus every Monday to grow in God's Word, have a laugh and enjoy a cup of tea. Monday nights are always an opportunity to get involved or find a space to relax. Find out what's on during the term.
TEXT A TOASTIE
Text a Toastie runs at various intervals throughout the term. You send us a question about God or Christianity and we'll bring you a free toastie on campus and respond to your question.
INTERNATIONAL WORK
As a CU we are passionate about reaching international students and facilitating a space to come together, make friends, and learn more about the Christian faith. We allow this to happen by running socials and events that both international and UK students are so welcome at.
TEA & TOAST
Tea and Toast is a fantastic opportunity to serve campus. We meet to serve hot drinks and toast with a number of different toppings. This is a great time to meet new people on campus and spread the word of Jesus in love and service.
